Question by jmelvin587: Which is better for mole removal, itworkspaste or Derma Tend, or should I just get laser removal?
I would like to remove a mole on my face and a few on my body. I was considering laser mole removal by a plastic surgeon. However, it is pricey. I have read some good things about Derma Tend and itworkspaste, but I am not sure which is better, and if they really work. I have also heard some bad things about bloodroot, an ingredient in Derma Tend (and maybe itworkspaste?), but I’m not sure what to believe. Thanks!

I used this stuff I bought on ebay, it’s 100% TCA, the seller was maggme100, and it only cost like 10 bucks. I went back to buy some more and it just says 100% mole remover because I think it’s medical grade (not allowed). My moles were on my side, I used the TCA and they dried up and fell off so easily! It’s the only thing that has ever worked for me! Good Luck!

Question by lys: DiETiNG!!!?
I started my first diet on Sunday (Tuesday now) & I’ve lost 400grams (0.88pounds)! I’m so excited!

I would love to hear about what everyone else out there is doing to lose weight? Whether it’s worked or not? Why you think it works? How you’re regulating calories? Your exercise regime? What size you are now? What you want to be? etc etc!

Just a response to weightloss_guru. Your generic answer (which I’m sure is helpful to SOME) has absolutely nothing to do with my question. Stop point scamming.

I’m doing this thing called Shapely Secrets. It makes you lose 1 size in the first 14 days or your money back guaranteed. All I do is 7 minutes of MOTIONLESS exercise everyday and eat healthy. It’s called High Volume Eating, I eat things that are with a lot of volume, but low in calories. There are “7 Secrets” to this thing.

Question by rick o: Is there a way to improve eyesight naturally? And is Lasik eye surgery available for people with astigamatism?
I’m 20 years old and my eyesight is really bad (probably from all the years of video games, tv, and surfing the internet). I’ve decided to limit my time spent on these activities, but what I want to know is if there’s a way to improve your eyesight without the use of glasses or contacts?

Also, I’ve heard from someone that people with astigmatism can’t get that eye restoration surgery. Is that true? Not that I can afford it right now anyway, I just want to know my options later on.

Best answer:

Answer by Thomas H
Yes, LASIK is the perfect solution for astigmatism which is caused by the irregular shape of the corneal.

I had astigmatism corrected with LASIK many years ago.
It’s is a great feeling to see without glasses again.

I doubt there are any natural cure for poor eyesight unless the causes is due to poor diet that affects the health of the eye itself like the retinas, the corneal etc. Taking food high in antioxidants is believe to keep tissues in the retina and corneas healthy. Wearing sun glasses to prevent UV damage to the eyes in good when outdoors.

Question by summerfun10: How do you stop sweating so much?
I sweat alot, and its super gross. Is there anyway to stop sweating so much, especially during sports and stuff.

Best answer:

Answer by beinggirl experts
Understand this isn’t unusual as a teen or during your 20′s. Excessive sweating may be all over the body or it can be limited to certain areas of the body. It most commonly affects the underarms, palms of the hands, and soles of the feet, although it has also been known to affect the face, neck, backs of the knees, groin, and beneath the breasts.

The best ways to prevent body odor are to wash daily making sure you pay attention to your underarms, wear clothes that breathe like cotton, and to use a deodorant or antiperspirant.

Deodorants will not stop the sweat, they just partially cover up the smell. Antiperspirants help stop the sweat before it starts with a chemical called aluminum chlorohydrate. It actually stops the perspiration process.

Deodorants work best when they go on after you have showered and the skin under your armpits is slightly damp. Most deodorants or antiperspirants are white, but some people don’t like the white residue it can leave on their clothes. But some find that clear deodorants and antiperspirants don’t work as well. It’s is a personal choice of finding what product works best for you.

Try Secret Clinical Strength. It has been clinically proven to provide prescription strength wetness protection.

Another hint is if you shower at night and apply deodorant then reapply it in the morning.

Question by Edelweiss: Is mole removal painful and what should someone expect?
I wondered if mole removal is painful and what are some things I should be aware of. I’ve had two entire toenails removed which wasn’t the most pleasant of experiences and I wondered if that would be worse than getting moles removed.

They give you a numbing shot right where the mole is and they burn it off in a few seconds depending on the size. All that will be left is the little mark of the mole. There is nothing to worry about you won’t even feel a thing.

The best advice I ever received was to not be in a quiet place when it is bothering you. Sounds dumb, but it works. Cutting out caffeine, chocolate, and salt may help. Other than that, I know of nothing.

Question by : What is the best stop snoring home remedy?
I have had problems my whole life with snoring, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for the best stop snoring home remedy. It’s really been bothering me recently, and I want it to stop already! Any help would be appreciated.

You really should see your doctor and be tested for sleep apnea or nasal or throat polyps, or sinus troubles.

Some things to try at home:
1. the nasal strips (Breathe Right is a brand name). Those can help with snoring and for nasal congestion.
2. Don’t sleep on your back. My husband snores, but i’ve noticed it doesn’t happen if he is sleeping on his side. Prop with pillows to keep yourself from rolling onto your back.
3. Raise the head of your bed up on blocks.
4. Lose weight. If you have a thick neck, that will partially block your airway and cause snoring.
5. Get more rest. My hubby tends to snore when he is more tired than usual.
6. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids. At night mucous membranes dry out and could lead to snoring.

And again, see your doctor to be checked.

Question by fancypantsy: If you’ve ever tried a home remedy for kidney stone passing, how long did this take?
and was it uncomfortable or even painful?

HI FancyPantsy

Here are some ideas on how to heal the issue.

Cause
Kidney stones are more common during the summer, possibly due to concentrated urine caused by increased sweating and insufficient fluid intake. In general, mild chronic dehydration can play a role in the development of kidney stones. Chronic stress can also play a role.

Kidney stones that are high in calcium may be a signal of hyperparathyroidism (excessive secretion of parathyroid hormone). In serious cases of kidney stones an ultrasound that fractionalizes and breaks down the stones may be advised. See your medical doctor for more information about this.

Natural Cures

Aromatherapy: Hyssop and juniper essential oils can be helpful.

Ayurveda: Cumin, coriander, and fennel tea. Drink one cup three times a day.

Diet: Diet alone cannot get rid of the stones. Higher-than-normal levels of oxalate related to a diet high in oxalic containing foods, such as rhubarb, spinach, leafy vegetables, and coffee, can promote kidney stone formation. High levels of dietary refined carbohydrates can also cause kidney stones. Sugar stimulates the pancreas to release insulin, causing increased calcium excretion through the urine. Other dietary factors that cause increased calcium excretion in the urine and promote stone formation are increased intakes of coffee, colas, acid-forming diets (such as high protein and grains), insufficient water intake, and excessive salt consumption. Soft drinks containing phosphoric acid can also encourage the formation of kidney stones and should be completely eliminated.

The most important dietary actions are to increase your intake of pure filtered water, fiber, and green vegetables, and reduce refined sugar consumption. Foods that are helpful in decreasing kidney stone formation include cranberries, black cherries, rice bran, kombucha tea. In addition to avoiding sugar, also avoid or reduce your intake of salt, dairy products, caffeine, alcohol, refined carbohydrates, nuts, chocolate, pepper, and animal proteins.

Herbs: Combine the tinctures of gravel root, cornsilk, wild yam, and blackhaw in equal parts and take one teaspoon of this mixture three times a day. Or drink one cup of an infusion of nettle three times a day. Other useful herbs include uva ursi, horsetail, and dandelion root.

Homeopathy: Berberis, and Sarsaparilla are both useful homeopathic remedies.

Hydrotherapy: Hydrotherapy is the application of water, ice, steam and hot and cold temperatures to maintain and restore health. Treatments include full body immersion, steam baths, saunas, sitz baths, colonic irrigation and the application of hot and/or cold compresses. Hydrotherapy is effective for treating a wide range of conditions and can easily be used in the home as part of a self-care program. Many Naturopathic Physicians, Physical Therapists and Day Spas use Hydrotherapy as part of treatment. I suggest several at-home hydrotherapy treatments.

Juice Therapy: The following juices can help stimulate the overall health of the urinary tract and potentially flush out the stones: lemon juice; carrot, beet, and cucumber juice with a dash of garlic and/or horseradish; and/or cranberry and watermelon juice.

Nutritional Supplementation: Helpful nutrients include: magnesium, vitamin B6, vitamin C (keep your total daily intake below 6 grams to avoid increasing oxalate formation), vitamin A, proteolytic enzymes (away from meals), raw kidney glandulars, fat-soluble chlorophyll, lipoic acid, and the amino acids glutamic acid, lysine, and methionine.

Alternative Professional Care
If your symptoms persist despite the above measures, seek the help of a qualified health professional. The following professional care therapies have all been shown to be useful for treating kidney stones: Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Detoxification Therapy, Reflexology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ultrasound.

Best of health to you

Question by Ron: Does rogaine stop hair loss or does it just grow new hairs?
I’m 13 and I have hair loss. I’m currently using rogaine, and i want to know if it just stops hair loss or grows hair.

Best answer:

Answer by Barcode
Rogaine only helps SOME people a little bit. When you stop using it – you lose what you’ve gained. Genetics rule, Bubba! Nothing you can do about it. Get over it.
